Blogging
Blogs most of the time serve as an online journal for people. Anyone can basically blog about anything. Certain kinds of blogs can be Artlogs (art blogs), photologs (photo blogs, vlog’s (video blogs), mobogs (mobile blogs) & podcasting (audio blogs.)
Most of the most common people that blog are Stay at Home Moms, most call it “Mommy Blogging” where they share fun, lighthearted stories about their children and how they are growing up.
This blog in particular for me is my shopping blog. I have an entertainment blog, a personal blog, a NASCAR blog and I help a family member maintain a political blog.
Blogs can be very interactive. You read an entry and make a comment on it. Like on this post, at the end of the post is a link for “Comments” and if you do or don’t like what you’ve read in this article, you let me know.
Your own blog does not necessarily have to be a .com domain name like this one. But with a little bit of money you can register one of your own with a name you pick. I use DreamHost for my webspace and I only pay $9.95 a month and my domain registration is $9.95 a year. GoDaddy also offers domain registration for as low as $1.99. Any of these publishing programs can be installed on webspace to maintain your entries
If you want to start your own blog for FREE, here’s a few suggestions for you:
You can check out Weblog Tools Collection if you want some information before getting started.
Good luck and get blogging!
