Dog Beds & Closeout Deals

Oso got a brand new bed. It was long overdue and it didn’t take him long at all to realize that it was there for him. Unfortunately, he picked up a small case of flea infestation, so he had to go to the groomer’s and the bed still has yet to be sprayed down with flea killer.

Kennedy and I went on a shopping spree at Meijer’s last Saturday. Everything was on sale from 50-70% off because the store on our side of town is closing down. She made out with toys, I hit a race memorabilia gold mine. (More specifically #20 Tony Stewart gold mine.)

Unfortunate for me, the sale included the candy so I walked out with a box of Pop Rocks and a few Nerd’s rope’s. I am so addicted to those Nerd ropes now, I’m ready to go back and get another box.

My Father The ATM

After the long night of website designing, my father wakes me up at 9am the next morning to go shopping with them. Let’s just say he got some extra cash since he is getting ready to retire and wanted to treat me to a late birthday gift, and of course treat himself to some technological toys. I honestly do love getting to venture out of the house with my parents. It’s bonding time, which I don’t get much time for these days just because I’m so broke all the time. We had breakfast at Tee Jay’s and then started his shopping excursion at Sam’s Club. His present to me:

Nikon Coolpix S550 Digital Camera

Nikon Coolpix S550 with 10.0 megapixels, 2.5 inch LCD screen and 5x zoom. EEEEEEEEE!

I’ve been eying digital cameras for a while now. I wanted something I could carry in my pocket, but still have one that takes great pictures at the same time, and of course, this one does both. I’m very excited about it and of course I appreciate my Dad so much for spoiling his 25-year old daughter when technically he doesn’t have to. He bought himself a digital camcorder so we will probably trade from time to time when we need to.

Our next shopping stop was Wal-Mart. My mom got a brand new sewing machine and some fleece fabric. Her first project is a #20 Tony Stewart (Nascar) fleece blanket for me. Did I mention I’m one spoiled child? I decided while I was there to go grocery shopping. My dad paid for my groceries. Did I ever mention I love my Dad?

I love my ATM machine…I mean my Dad!
